New Zealand one-dayer: Slow start by Kiwis, Dhoni rested

Mount Maunaganu: New Zealand made a slow start as they managed 128 for 3 in 28 overs in the third ODI here today.

Martin Guptill was out for 13, Colin Munro was dismissed for 7. Skipper Kane Wiliamson was out for 24. For India, Bhuvi, Shami and Chahal picked a wicket each.

Hardik Pandya predictably came in the playing XI while Mahendra Singh Dhoni missed out due to injured hamstring in the third ODI against New Zealand here Monday. The home team will have Mitchell Santner coming in place of Colin de Grandhomme. In place of Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik will keep and Vijay Shankar makes way for Pandya.

India is eyeing for the series in this ODI as they have already won the previous two.
