Indian top order tumbles, loses 8 wickets for just 65

Hamilton: Thanks to a superb spell by Trent Boult, India kept losing wickets and were down to 65 for 8 in 24 overs in the fourth ODI against New Zealand here. None of the batsman could get going and Kiwis picked up all important wickets early.

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and invited India to bat first in the fourth and penultimate ODI here on Thursday. In the absence of Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the last two ODIs, Rohit Sharma leads India. Young Shubman Gill made a forgetful debut scoring just 9 runs.

Rayudu and DK scored zero. Jadhav managed one. Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has replaced Mohammed Shami in the match. Veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still not fit and will miss the match. India are 3-0 up in the five-match.
