Hyderabad: Pointing out that many new issues concerning the Rafale deal were frequently coming out, Communist Party of India (CPI) General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday said a white paper should be brought out on various issues on the deal, even the problems raised by department heads.
“Though allegations are there that the Prime Minister’s Office interfered in a very naked fashion, that it unilaterally took decisions, many wrongs have taken place that Indian money has gone to foreign countries on a large scale… the government is refusing to answer in a proper way even today,” he said.
He slammed Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said her shouts rather than arguments have increased and that it was insulting Parliament to say in the House that it was a waste of time. He said Sitharaman had no right to make such a comment in Parliament.
