Chennai: There is no hitch in alliance talks in Tamilandu, said Union Minister of State for Finance and TN BJP leader, Pon Radhakrishnan.
Speaking to mediapersons at Coimbatore airport this morning, he answered a barrage of questions, including those regarding the upcoming general elections.
He categorically stated that there was no problem in alliance talks in Tamilnadu for the 2019 general elections.
Replying to a question on barbs by Deputy Speaker and AIADMK leader M Thambidurai against the BJP and Central government, Radhakrishnan brushed them aside.
He said, “Thambidurai is my brother and I speak to him every day.”
Regarding the protest by Puducherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy against Lt Governor Kiran Bedi, Radhakrishnan dubbed it a gimmick to grab attention in an election year.
Narayanasamy and his ministers are laying siege to the Raj Nivas – the residence of the Lt Governor in Puducherry – accusing her of being non-cooperative and interfering with the administration of the Union Territory.
