Pudhucherry: Even as Pudhucherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy’s dharna enters fifth day today, Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today alleged that Narayanasamy’s protest has affected normal life in the Union Territory.
Speaking to press persons at Chennai airport after returning from New Delhi, she said, “The Chief Minister has been making false accusstions against me. Only due to financial constraints, welfare schemes could not be implemented in Pudhucherry.”
He is welcome to discuss issues affecting lives of people with me. I am ready for a dialogue with Narayanasamy, she said.
Meanwhile Narayanasamy said, the protest will be intensified in the coming days, We will hold jail bharo on 20 Februray and demonstrations would be held in front of post offices on 21 February.’We will send letters to President and Union Home Ministry to withdraw Kiran Bedi as Lt Governor’.
