The trailer of the upcoming Tamil mythological mystery thriller Aghavan was released at a gala event, but it actually felt like a celebration of Rajinikanth – who wasn’t even present.
Chirashree Anchan is making her debut in Tamil movies through Aghavan. The film is directed by Elumalai and produced by Ravichandran who is a self-confessed Rajini fan.
Many speakers used this fact to praise the Superstar. Raghava Lawrence, who was one of the guests, remarked that while many speak ill of Rajinikanth, he never bad-mouths anyone, and always advises his fans to ignore such people.
The film’s team, include debutant Kishore Ravichandran, who plays the lead role, and the two heroines, ChiraShree and Nithya Shetty, who struck a pretty pose during the launch. Thambi Ramaiah also stars in a prominent role. Along with the trailer, a few songs composed by C Sathya were also released and screened.
Going by the trailer, the beginning of the film is all sunshine and rainbows but it takes a dark turn when the characters in the film find themselves in situations that can be seen inducing horror in them. The intense trailer makes it exciting to see how the film will perform.
The film seems to revolve around a murder and the dead haunting the murderers. The film is set in the rural backdrop and mostly takes place around a temple. Click link to watch trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyc8i4UKO5I
