Chennai: In a bid to improve the tourism sector of Tamilnadu, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will run a special train called, ‘Ram Sethu Express – Tamilnadu Temple Tour’ 28 February at 12.15 am from Tambaram Railway Station and it will return 3 March at 10.30 pm.
According to a press release, the special train will leave from Tambaram, facilitating boarding at Chengalpet, Tindivanam, Villupuram and Vridhachalam railway stations.
The four-days, three-nights all-inclusive train tour package will cover 15 temples at cities including Tiruchi, Madurai, Thanjavur and Kumbakonam. The package cost for the tour is Rs 4,885 per person.
