Chennai: The defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Tamilnadu’s most-loved brands, British Empire Glasses and SNJ 10000 Packaged Drinking Water from the SNJ Group, will be sharing screen time both on and off the field for the 12th edition of the Indian Premier league.
When CSK, led by MS Dhoni comes to the field, the SNJ Group will be right by its side as the CSK players’ jersey will carry the logo of SNJ 10000 on the leading arm and the logo of British Empire on the back of the helmet.
Chairman, SNJ, Jayamurugan, is excited about the development and feels that the tie-up will mean a lot for any brand that has leveraged this opportunity. “We are delighted to have SNJ on board as a sponsor and see this as the start of a long and fruitful partnership,” CEO, Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited, KS Viswanathan said.
CSK won a third crown in its seventh appearance in the final in the 2018 IPL season to level with Mumbai Indians for most titles in the competition while also extending its record of qualifying to the Playoffs to all nine seasons that it has participated in.
