Chennai: Amidst the interesting developments ahead of the 2019 general elections, AIADMK’s mouthpiece Namadhu Amma has published a poem ‘Kaala vote-u Kazhagathirkae‘, interpreting Rajinikanth’s statement as supporting their party.
Superstar Rajinikanth has declared that he was not going to contest in this year’s general elections. The poem comes after Rajini refused to comment on who he or his fans will or should support and asked his fans to cast their votes wisely.
The poem refers to Rajini telling his fans to support one who brings water to Tamilnadu. It then lists the water projects actioned by the AIADMK government. It talks of ensuring Cauvery water for Tamilnadu and other schemes.
When the AIADMK and BJP government at the Centre are striving hard to bring water to the State, you do not need an Oxford dictionary to understand the meaning of Rajinikanth’s statement, the poem, written by Chitraguptan, argues.
For the uninitiated, Kaala is the name of one of Rajinikanth’s latest films.
