Chennai: Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) beat Tamilnadu (TN) by five wickets in a rain-curtailed BCCI Men (Under-23) Elite A&B One-Day match at the K L Saini Stadium in Jaipur.
Despite three of its batsmen making 40-plus contributions, TN only managed to score 192 in the first innings.
Because of rain intervention, J&K’s target was reduced via VJD method. It crossed the finish line in 37.2 overs, losing five wickets in the process, courtesy Abid Mushtaq’s half-century (59*) for the winner.
