Infosys Foundation to help build 300-bed hospital complex in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy yesterday laid a foundation stone for an Infosys Foundation project at Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Research. 

Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy, tourism minister S R Mahesh and the director of Jayadeva Hospital, Dr C N Manjunath were present on the occasion.

A release issued by the Foundation has signed an MoU with the Jayadeva Hospital and the project will help build a 300-bed hospital complex and it aims to reduce the congestion faced by the hospital and also treat poor patients from various parts of the country.

Also, a 100-bed capacity maternal and child care hospital in Kanakapura, Bengaluru, would be built with the help of the Foundation.
