Hyderabad: BJP unit in Telangana held a preparatory meeting with the party in-charges for parliamentary constituencies in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections yesterday. The party’s election in charge in Telangana, Aravind Limbavali, also attended the meeting among others.
Speaking about the meeting, party leader Chinta Samba Murthy said the party’s position in various constituencies were evaluated and national issues, including national security, would become the prime issue in the Lok Sabha polls. He added that a strategy would be finalised to make the party emerge as a strong force in the coming elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a nationwide video conference for party workers and a meeting with district unit presidents would be held today and bike rallies on 2 March.
