Sanketh’s hat-trick goes waste as Vivekananda win against TKRIMS

Chennai: Left arm medium pacer E Sanketh took a hat-trick against RKM Vivekananda but his side lost the contest by 25 runs in the quarter-finals of the Pavit Singh Nayar Memorial Cricket Tournament at the CPT IP Ground here Friday.

Batting first, RKM was bowled out for 168 in 19.1 overs. Sanketh was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 24 runs. However, chasing 169 for victory, TKRIMS was reduced to 143 for nine in its stipulated overs.
