Double delight for Amrish

Actor-turned-composer Amrish is happy as two of his movies (Sathru and Pottu) are releasing this weekend. The young music director, son of veteran actress Jayachitra, says, “I am happy that things have fallen in right place now.”

Speaking to News Today, Amrish, says, “Though I started my career as actor, I expressed my desire to explore my talents in music to my mother. Today two of my films are releasing. It is a proud moment for me.”

Having made his debut as music composer in Motta Siva Ketta Siva, Amrish followed it up with Harahara Mahadevaki, Baskar The Rascal, Charlie Chaplin 2. He says, “I have my hands full today. My forthcoming projects include Karjanai starring Trisha, Paramapatham, Andrea starrer Ka, Sunny Leone’s Tamil debut Veeramadevi and Delhi.”

Asked whether he would take up acting again, Amrish, says, “I got several offers. But music is my passion. I don’t want to ride on two horses simultaneously.”

“I made Raghava Lawrence sing in Motta Siva Ketta SIva, urged Prabhudeva to pen lyrics in Charlie Chaplin 2,” Amrish says and adds, “I want to give songs that people will remember for long time.”
