Filmmaker Selvakannan makes his foray in Kollywood with a movie titled Nedunalvadai. The film explores intense relationship in a family, Tamil culture and a grandfather’s sacrifice for his grandson.
The film is jointly produced by 50 students. Selvakannan had earlier worked with Gandhi Krishna, Saamy, Rajesh M Selva among others.
The movie stars Poo Ramu, Anjali Nair, Ajay Natraj, Mime Gopi among others. Music is by Jose Franklin and cinematography by Vinod Rathanswamy. The highlight of the movie is that Vairamuthu has penned all the songs.
A major portion of the movie is based on real incidents. Those who see the movie would love to live a life that one we portrayed on screen. All artistes including Poo Ramu and Mime Gopi have lived the character’. Plans are on for a release 15 March.
