Puducherry: AINRC founder leader N Rangasamy yesterday claimed that AIADMK-led alliance would win all the 39 seats in Tamilnau and the one seat in Puducherry as it was a natural alliance.
AINRC has been allocated the Puducherry Lok Sabha seat. He met with AIADMK MLAs yesterday at the party headquarters. Addressing a meeting there, he rejected the ruling Congress’s charge that the alliance was opportunistic.
He pointed out that his party had won the Puducherry seat in 2014 with AIADMK as its alliance and furtger claimed there would be a ‘big change’ in the political scene in the Union Territory after the Lok Sabha polls. “The pact finalised by us is a natural alliance and not opportunistic as had been wrongly propagated by the rival camp,” said the former chief minister.
