Every MP will play key role in formation of govt in Telangana: Rama Rao

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao yesterday said that post Lok Sabha elections, all MP would be important in forming government and added that the party should win 16 of the total of 17 seats to ensure that Telangana gets various projects for its development.

In the coming 11 April elections, the ruling party aims at winning 16 seats in Telangana, leaving the Hyderabad seat to its ally AIMIM, which is headed by Asaduddin Owaisi.

Addressing a gathering, the working president blamed that if Mamata Banerjee becomes the railway minister, all rail projects go to West Bengal, if Lalu Prasad Yadav is the railway minister, all rail projects go to Bihar. And when Narendra Modi is Prime Minister, “bullet train goes there, touching the entire Gujarat…”

Referring to the TRS election symbol of car, Rao said “Let’s go with the slogan to win all 16.”
