Chennai: Considered as the Detroit of south east Asia, Oragadam gets a new 30-bedded multi-specialty Hiranandani Parks Hospital to meet the medical needs of people residing in Oragadam – Sriperumbudur region and other peripheral areas.
A press release stated, “It is Nursing Home Board (NHB) Certified and has commenced operations in association with secretary of State academy of medical sciences, IMA Dr C Anbarasu. The hospital is being run in two locations, both are mixed-use township projects of the Hiranandani Group – Powai, Mumbai and in Thane. Oragadam is the third such location.”
“It is our endeavor to provide the finest health care facilities with the expert health care professionals and latest types of equipment. The hospital is going to be the best multi-specialty hospital in and around Oragadam, Chennai,” said Anbarasu in the press release.
In addition, the hospital would be initiating telemedicine department support, which will help to overcome distance barriers and to improve access to medical services that would often not be consistently available in distant rural communities.
A few of the facilities are- 24*7 accident, emergency and trauma care, out-patient and in-patient wings, ICU with ventilator, operation theatre, 24 hrs functional pharmacy and the like. “At present, the hospital is equipped to conduct minor operations,” added the release.
