TN CM extends Ugadi greetings

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami greeted Telugu and Kannada speaking people on the eve of Ugadi.

In a statement today, he said, “The Telugu and Kannada people who live in Tamilnadu have set an example to the world that people who speak different languages and practice distinct traditions and customs can live together. It is a matter of pride that since time immemorial, the Telugu and Kannada have lived in harmony with the people of Tamilnadu and assisted in the growth of the State.”

“I wish the blossoming Ugadi New Year spreads peace and happiness in the lives of Telugu and Kannada people,” he added.
