2019 elections: Modi to address election rally in Kovai this evening

Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Tamilnadu today to address an election rally in Coimbatore.

He will be reaching Coimbatore by a special aircraft and participate in the rally at Codissia grounds at 7 pm. Modi will be seeking votes for BJP candidate C P Radhakrishnan, contesting from the Coimbatore constituency.

BJP alliance partners, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, will be joining the Prime Minister on the stage.

There will also be the other leaders of the alliance, say reports.

In view of the Prime Minister’s visit, security has been tightened in Coimbatore.

Modi will be making another visit to the State 13 April to participate in an election rally and seek votes for AIADMK candidate P Ravindranath, who is also the son of Panneerselvam.
