Chennai: German automaker BMW has launched its new Z4 roadster at Rs 64.9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the sDrive20i in the country. The models will be available as completely built-up (CBU) units.

The car will be available with a choice of a BMW M Performance model, the Z4 M40i that is priced at Rs 78.9 lakh.
The car comes with LED headlights as standard, there is an optional Adaptive LED Headlight system, 19 inch M light alloy wheels, among others.
The two-litre inline four-cylinder petrol engine in the convertible sports car produces an output of 145 kW/197 hp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. The car accelerates from 0-100 kph in 6.6 seconds in the base variant. The M40i is more powerful with 340 hp and 500 Nm and can do the 0-100 kph in just 4.5 seconds.
