Raymond collaborates with RIL to launch eco-friendly fabrics


Chennai: Leading fashion and textile manufacturer, Raymond Group has unveiled its new range of eco-friendly fabrics manufactured by using technology from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL).

According to a release, the a range of fabrics, named Ecovera has been manufactured by using R|ElanTM tech from RIL.

The Ecovera range will soon hit 1,500 stores across 700 cities. It is made from R|ElanTM GreenGold, the greenest fibre in the world. R|ElanTM GreenGold is made by recycling post- consumer waste PET bottles, using bio-fuels and energy-efficient processes, said the release.

Raymond’s Ecovera, powered by RIL’s R|ElanTM, will redeem almost 1 million PET bottles from landfills, it added.
