Environmentalist Foundation of India seeks volunteers

After restoring four ponds in Mudichur, the Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI) has teamed up with the local administration to tap the capacity of Mudichur Seekana Eri by connecting its channel to the Adyar River, and is now in the process of restoring the lake.

The recent rains that hit the city saw water gushing into the 820m long channel of the lake that was de-silted and restored with a bund around it.

The NGO is in need of volunteers for a number of activities it is conducting in the locality. Interested people can get in touch with the NGO’s coordinator Rama Narayanan at 9677097824.
