Chennai: The police used mild force near the M A Chidambaram stadium in Chepauk as the crowd queueing up to buy tickets became restive this morning
With Chennai Super Kings (CSK) playing against Mumbai Indians (MI) in a crucial Indian Premier League match Friday (26 April), the lines at the ticket counters started forming from last night. So, when there was a slight delay in issuing the tickets this morning, the young crowd became restless.
The police used mild baton-charge to contain the restive youth.
A number of women were also spotted standing in queue to purchase tickets from the counter.
CSK won by six wickets yesterday’s home match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They have not lost a single match on home ground so far.
