Chennai: A bomb on a motorcycle in Sri Lankan capital Colombo triggered tension in the area this morning.
During routine checks, the Sri Lankan police found a bike parked suspiciously near Savoy cinema theatre and detected that it had a bomb. The Lankan forces carried out controlled blast and ensured that it did not harm anyone.
But this triggered panic in the capital city that is yet to recover from the shock of the Easter Sunday serial blasts.
According to the latest report from Colombo, the toll in the bomb blasts in churches and star hotels has risen to 359 today. Ten Indians were also killed in the blasts.
