Trains from Bengaluru and Mysuru delayed from 22 to 26 May

Chennai: To conduct ballast cleaning machine work, the Southern Railway has applied line block at Arakkonam – Jolarpettai section. As a result, there are some changed in railway timings.

According to a press release, on 22 May, train (22626) and train (12640) KSR Bengaluru – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central AC Double Decker Express and Brindavan Express will be delayed at Melpatti for about 80 minutes and at Ambur for about 60 minutes, respectively.

On 23 and 24 May, train (22626) and train (12640) KSR Bengaluru – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central AC Double Decker Express and Brindavan Express will be delayed at Valathoor for about 85 minutes and at Pachachakupam for about 60 minutes,respectively. Train (12008) Mysuru – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central Shatabdi Express will be delayed at Ambur for about 20 minutes.

Likewise on 25 and 26 May, train (56262) KSR Bengaluru – Arakkonam Passenger will be partially cancelled between Jolarpettai – Arakkonam. This train will run from KSR Bengaluru to Jolarpettai only and will run as passenger special from Jolarpettai to Arakkonam after cancelation of the line block. On 26 May, train (22637) Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central – Mangalore Central West Coast Express will be delayed/regulated at Latteri for about 130 minutes.
