2019 general elections: BJP’s C P Radhakrishnan leading in Coimbatore

Chennai: While the DMK alliance seems to be leading in most constituencies among the 39 that went to polls in Tamilnadu and Puducherry, from the AIADMK alliance, the BJP is leading in Coimbatore.

According to early trends, BJP’s C P Radhakrishnan, former president of the Tamilnadu unit of the party, is said to be leading. He is one of the five candidates contesting from the BJP in the AIADMK alliance.

The other candidates are Pon Radhakrishnan (Kanyakumari), Tamilisai Soundararajan (Thoothukudi), H Raja (Sivaganga), Nainar Nagendran (Ramanathapuram).

Of these, Tamilisai is said to be trailing behind DMK’s Kanimozhi.
