“I learnt a lot about acting working in Selvaraghavan’s NGK,” says actress Sai Pallavi. Starring Suriya in the lead, the political thriller is set for release 31 May.
Speaking about the film, Sai Pallavi, says, “I can’t reveal anything about my character in the film. All I can say is that Selvaraghavan taught me a lot about cinema. I had a fear that I should not make any mistake during the shoot. On several occasions, when I had to do re-takes, I was in tears. But Suriya was a pillar of support for me, He made feel at ease and patiently waited for me to give my best.”
I am great fan of Suriya since my college days. I enjoyed watching his movie Khakhaa Khakhaa, she adds. On sharing the screen with Rakul Preet, Sai Pallavi, says, “We both have meaty roles. Our combination scenes are very less. All the characters in the movie are strongly written.”
Though a doctor by profession, Sai Pallavi chose to act in films because of her passion. “I want to be remembered as an artiste, who can do any type of roles.”
