Chennai: Residents of Moovarsampet want authorities to check whether rejuvenation work on at Moovarasampet lake was progressing properly.
Secretary of Sabapathy Nagar Residents Welfare Association, Babu GP, said, “The lake is one of the major water sources of Moovarasampet. It’s has gone dry due to blistering heat. Currently rejuvenation works are on at the water body, which is not up to the level. We want the authorities to check the activities on at the lake.”
