Hyderabad: “The people of the country have decided and stated in whose hands India would be safe after this elections. They have stated that the country’s future would be secure only in the hands of Modi ji,” said Ram Madhav, BJP general secretary.
He further flayed the opposition, saying that the “Congress has shut it’s shop for a month,” and that the party head Rahul Gandhi has shut his mouth saying he will not run the party anymore.
Ram Madhav was speaking at an event organised at Nizamabad to celebrate the victory of BJP candidate D Arvind and to thank the people.
Arvind who was pitted against TRS MP K Kavitha, won the Lok Sabha seat. BJP won four of the total 17 constituencies, Congress bagged 3 and the ruling TRS party won 9 seats.
The just completed polls is said to have served as a morale booster to the BJP, which declared that it would emerge as the alternative to ruling TRS in Telangana.
