Chennai: Italian premium motorcycle brand Ducati has announced the launch of the new Hypermotard 950 in India at a price of Rs 11.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, India).
The bike is equipped with a 937 cc twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta 11°. The twin-cylinder engine has been revised and lightened by 1.5 kg and puts out four more horsepower than its predecessor, achieving 114 hp and 9.8 kgm torque.
It is equipped with a Marzocchi fork with fully adjustable 45 mm aluminium tubes and stanchions, and 170mm wheel travel. The front braking system features two monobloc radially mounted four-piston Brembo M4.32 calipers.
The Hypermotard 950 is also equipped with electronics based on Bosch six-axis inertial measurement unit (6D IMU), cornering ABS with the slide by brake function, Ducati traction control EVO (DTC EVO), Ducati wheelie control (DWC) EVO. There are three riding modes as well.
The bookings are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Chennai, Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
