Chennai: With the NEET results out, students are geared up for the medical counselling in the State.
The first round of online allotment of MBBS and BDS seats by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the current academic year will begin 19 June.
The process will include 15 per cent seats allocated to the Central quota provided by State government institutions besides deemed universities, Central government run institutions, ESIC colleges and Armed Forces Medical College.
In the first phase from 19 to 25 June, the candidates can register and make the payment, and results will be released 27 June, and candidates can report to the allotted colleges between 28 June and 3 July.
The second phase will be held between 6 and 8 July. The results will be declared 12 July, and candidates will have nine days’ time to report to the allotted colleges.
