Smartphone realme C2 launched in Indian offline market

Chennai: Smartphone brand realme has announced that the C2 is available in the country with prices starting at Rs 5,999 for the base 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM variant. There are two other variants available with different storage capacities.

A release stated that the mobile comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop Full screen, Corning glass 3, a 4,000mAh battery, 2 GHZ and 12nm octa core Helio P22 processor. The realme C2 will support an expandable 256 GB storage with a triple independent card slot which supports dual sim 4G.

There are dual AI rear cameras (13MP+2MP) and the firm claims the C2 will be the first handset at the price point to support 80fps/480P slow-motion video recording. It is also equipped with colour OS 6 based on Android Pie 9.0. The smartphone is already on sale across offline stores.

CEO, realme India, Madhav Sheth, said, “Considering the rapidly growing customer demand towards realme C2, we are making the device available at our offline stores. Initially, the device was available for sale on and our official website and saw phenomenal response. The initiative is to fulfil our commitment to deliver best consumer experience to our customers.”
