I was against a woman-centric movies where she is shown as an affected person or someone who sacrifices her life for a cause. Rathnakumar narrated the story to me and I was mightily impressed. I readily agreed to do it.”

It is a movie to reckon with in my career, she says and adds, “There will always be people who will judge the film before watching it. We can’t do anything about it. It was an honest attempt. It is a true film.”
