Kangana joins debate on Zaira’s decision to quit films:
When 18-years-old Dangal star, Zaira Wasim wrote a letter and published on Instagram, calling her decision to quit Bollywood citing religion, netizens offered her support while some criticized her. Several top Bollywood celebrities also took part in this heated debate. Now, Kangana Ranaut chose to comment on the issue.
The actress said that ‘the fundamental quality of any religion was to empower and not disempower an individual’. She was quoted as saying while interacting with media during the launch of the song Wakhra Swag from her forthcoming film JudgeMentall Hai Kya. Sharing her views. Kangana said, ‘I think any religion should empower you and it should make you independent and confident. It should make your life fulfilling and if you think that your life is already fulfilling, then there is plenty of work to do around you.’
