Chennai: The city police busted a prostitution racket with the arrest of two men and rescued four women from a hotel in Triplicane.
According to sources, on a tip-off, a team of police personnel, led by Inspector Balaguru, raided a hotel in Vallaba Agraharam, Triplicane.
The women rescued from two rooms are natives of Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The police arrested Karthik (32) of Nanganallur and Saravanan (31) of Madurai.
Hotel owner, Wilson Raj, and his staff Sathish and Arun, fled the scene. The women were sent to a government-run shelter home.
