Q: Tell us about your role in Dear Comrade?
A: I play Lilly, a State cricketer in the movie. I had no touch with cricket whatsoever. I was surprised when the director said that I play a professional cricketer in the movie. I had my doubts whether I can pull it off. I always want to learn new things. I took it in my stride and started learning the game. I did enough rehearsals for several days and with all the bruises that came with it.

Q: On sharing the screen with Vijay Deverakonda again after Geetha Govindam.
A: He is a wonderful actor. Having worked together in Geetha Govindam before, we share a good rapport and friendship. He has great energy.

A: My childhood was spent in Chennai. We stayed in Defence Colony here as my dad was working here. I studied in a school called Ruskin. Later we moved to Coorg, which is my native place. So, the first language I learnt was Tamil.
