Hyderabad: AICC in-charge in Telangana R C Khuntia alleged that the ruling TRS led by K Chandrasekar Rao and opposition BJP have a clandestine understanding in the State over various issues.
Khuntia said although the TRS and BJP criticise each other publicly, they have a understanding over several issue. He further asked the TRS to explain to the people as to why the government supported the RTI amendment bill in Parliament and the politics behind it.
The Congress leader claimed that the government had initially proposed to send the bill to the select committee, but after Union Home Minister Amit Shah called Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the ruling party supported the Bill.
Khuntia further went on to claim that TRS had earlier supported BJP on election of the President, Vice President, GST and demonetization among other issues. He urged the people to support Congress.
The AICC leader asked party leaders and workers to participate in the campaign to hoist party flags across the state, to gear up the party ahead of the municipal elections and to work for its victory. The campaign is said to start today.
