Vijay Sethupathi, Aamir Khan join hands for big flick

Following the appearance of Aamir Khan at the set of Sanga Thamizhan starring Vijay Sethupathi, reports are doing the rounds that Vijay Sethupathi and Aamir may collaborate for a new film and that the pre-production work has already begun.

After much speculation, Vijay Sethupathi confirmed that he will be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in one of his upcoming films. He added that the producers will make an official announcement soon. Sources says that the actor will be a part of the Hindi remake of acclaimed Hollywood flick, Forrest Gump. ‘He will be seen playing a crucial role in the film,’ a source said.

The remake is tentatively titled Lal Singh Chaddha and will be directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame. It will be Vijay Sethupathi’s first Bollywood film. Vijay is waiting for the release of his Telugu debut, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, featuring Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Also, Aamir will be reprising Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha. The film will go on floors in November and will be directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, who directed the original.
