Chennai, Aug 14: Apollo Hospitals recently announced its Q1FY20 results. According to a press release, Q1FY20 standalone revenues grew 17 per cent to Rs. 22,292 million compared to Rs. 19,104 million in Q1FY19, aided by SAP growth of 18 per cent and Healthcare services growth of 15 per cent YoY.
HC services growth of 15 per cent YoY was led by new hospitals which reported 20 per cent YoY Revenue growth while mature hospitals grew 14 per cent YoY. EBITDA (Pre Ind AS 116) was at Rs. 2,742 million in Q1FY20 as against Rs. 2,267 million in Q1FY19 a YoY growth of 21 per cent. PAT grew by 32 per cent to Rs. 793 million in Q1FY20.
Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Prathap C Reddy said, “We have made a strong start to the financial year building on the momentum gained last year to deliver steady growth in revenue and margins across all our verticals. We are hopeful that our efforts towards having a strong Pan-India presence and towards adopting new skills and cutting edge technology should help us in maintaining the momentum going forward as well.”
As on 30 June, Apollo Hospitals had 7,348 operating beds across the network (excluding AHLL & managed beds), out of which 13 were new hospitals with 1,870 operating beds. The new hospitals are expected to see increase in volumes and utilisation going forward.
