ISRO chairman Sivan receives Kalam award from CM Palaniswami

Chennai: Indian Space Research Organisation chairman K Sivan was today presented the Kalam award by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in his chamber at the Secretariat.

As he was busy with Chandrayaan-2 schedule, Sivan was not available on 15 August to receive the award from the Chief Minister during the Independence Day public ceremony.

So, Sivan, who won the Kalam award of the Tamilnadu government in appreciation of his work in the filed of space science, received it today from the hands of Palaniswami.

Senior ministers and officials were present when the award was presented to Sivan.
