Chennai: The Southern Railway is taking up track maintenance work between Chengalpattu and Singaperumal Koil from 13 September to 13 October, from 11.15 am to 1.15 pm.
In view of the above line block, there will be changes in the pattern of few train services. Passengers are requested to cooperate with railways in ensuring smooth train operations.
According to a press release, Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu EMU local (40523) leaving Chennai Beach at 9.32 am on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19 October will be partially cancelled between Singaperumal Koil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumal Koil.
Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu EMU local (40525) leaving Chennai Beach at 10.08 am on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11,12, 15, 18 and 19 October will be partially cancelled between Singaperumal Koil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumal Koil.
Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu EMU local (40527) leaving Chennai Beach at 10.56 am on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19 October will be partially cancelled between Singaperumal Koil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumal Koil.
Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach EMU local (40532) leaving Chengalpattu at 11.30 am on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11,12, 15, 18 and 19 October will be partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumal Koil. This train will run from Singaperumal Koil to Chennai Beach.
Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach EMU local (40534) leaving Chengalpattu at 12.20 pm on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19 October will partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumal Koil. This train will run from Singaperumal Koil to Chennai Beach.
Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach EMU local (40536) leaving Chengalpattu at 1 pm on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27 and 28 September, 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19 October is fully cancelled.
Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach EMU local (40632) leaving Chengalpattu at 1 pm on 29 September, 6 and 13 October is fully cancelled.
A passenger special will be operated from Tirumalpur to Chennai Beach leaving Tirumalpur at 11.35 am on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28, 29 September and 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, 18 and 19 October.
