Inebriated man climbs atop train at Egmore station, causes flutter

Chennai: In a bizzare incident, a man climbed atop a train causing tension and delay at Egmore railway station.

According to sources, the man was identified as Ganesan (28), an MBA graduate from Madhavaram. He climbed on the roof of Pandian Express which was scheduled to leave from Egmore station at 9.40 pm Thursday.

Public were in for shock, as Ganeshan had blood stains on his stomach and neck. He was screaming and even attempted to touch the high tension wires running above him.

He claimed that a group of 50 people were coming to murder him. The Railway Police spoke to him and managed to bring him down. Police said he was in an inebriated condition.
