Chennai: The third global summit of Tamil entrepreneurs and professionals, organised by The Rise, will be held in Chennai from 14 to 16 November.
“The summit calls for deepening of a culture of multi-stakeholder collaborations and expansion of resources-based small and medium entrepreneurial ventures. It is aimed at addressing the massive joblessness and economic downturn that the country is witnessing, while keeping the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations as the foundational belief for action,” said The Rise founder and global head, Jegath Gaspar Raj.
Terming the recent overseas visits of Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy as a welcome step, senior advocate and The Rise India Trust chairman R Gandhi said that The Rise movement is willing to work closely with the government of Tamilnadu in strengthening a collaborative framework of global Tamil entrepreneurs and professionals. He further informed that more than one thousand delegates are expected to participate in the summit from over 35 countries.
According to a press release, flagship initiatives – consortium of Tamil IT entrepreneurs and professionals, consortium of global Tamil auditors and finance professionals and consortium of global Tamil exporters and importers – would be launched during the summit.
