Excerpts from his interview

Q: Tell us about Adithya Varma?
A: Everybody knows it is a remake of blockbuster Telugu hit Arjun Reddy. We are doing the Tamil version with utmost care. There is a lot of things in Adithya Varma even more than the original. The character was really a huge challenge for me. I thank my father for giving me this opportunity.

Q: Your father struggled hard to become a star. But you hogged headlines with just one film. How do you feel?
A: Everyone knows the struggle my father faced to establish himself in the industry. I watched him from very close quarters then. To be accepted as good actor by audience is never easy. I know my responsibilities. I am determined to work hard for it. My father is my guide. He knows what I should do and what I should avoid. My mother pampers me a lot and takes care of me well.

Q: People will compare you with your father. Do you think it would add more pressure on you?
A: Obviously they will compare me with my dad. But I will prove my acting skills with my own identity. Adithya Varma will help me achieve it.

Q: What is your greatest dream?
A: My dad has done varied roles. He inspired us a lot. His talent speaks for himself. In future, I want to direct a movie starring him in the lead role.

Q: Heard Vijay appreciated you a lot after watching Adithya Varma trailer…
A: Vijay is one of my favourite actors. He was impressed watching the trailer of the movie. I was happy and his words motivates a lot to give my best.
