Chennai: BJP State vice-president B T Arasakumar today joined the DMK in the presence of party president M K Stalin here.
Speaking on the occasion, Arasakumar, said, ”My journey has begun today to make Stalin the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. In BJP, only a few get opportunities to excel. Many are sidelined. There was no respect to those who work tirelessly for the party there”.
Arasakumar, taking part in a wedding function on Sunday, hailed Stalin. He said, ”Stalin had proven to be a good administrator and the DMK president will soon be in power after having demonstrated he was in no hurry to become the Chief Minister of the State”.
Following this, the BJP’s State unit issued an order asking him not to attend party programmes and meetings until an order from the headquarters. The State unit has also recommended action against him.
