New Delhi: To further capture the growth potential of Indian outbound market, San Francisco Travel Association (SFTA) organized its trade mission to India recently. A senior delegation from SFTA visited Mumbai and New Delhi led by president and CEO of SFTA, Joe D’Alessandro.
“India is an important growth market for San Francisco Travel. In 2019 San Francisco welcomed over 2,16,500 Indian travelers, a growth of 7.7 per cent over the previous year. Now with enhanced air connectivity and nonstop flights being added by United Airlines, in addition to the nonstop service Air India, we hope to welcome even more Indian travelers to our unique city,” said Joe D’Alessandro.
Managing director of Sartha Global Marketing Sheema Vohra, SFTA’s India Representative said, “Our goal is to stimulate the interest in San Francisco as the top destination for leisure, business and MICE segments. San Francisco already has a strong market share of inbound USA business and we expect that with increased air service, this will rise exponentially in coming years.”
