Chennai: Heart for India Foundation (HFI) founder and president princess Francoise Sturdza of Switzerland participated in the Republic Day celebrations at the Panchayat Union Primary School & Government High School at Nanmangalam.
“HFI manager for India, Minnie Sarah Abraham, also took part in the event along with the programme coordinator Baskaran & all HFI staff working in their HFI project schools. Natchathira Mary and Enisa from Nivedan Women’s Development Trust, Regional Education Officer Charles Peter, Medavakkam Govt. High school Education Special Officer Kalaimani were also present on the occasion,” the release added. It further said members of the Lions Club also honoured Princess Francoise Sturdza for her continued service for all these years.To commemorate the 15 years service of Heart for India Foundation Francoise Sturdza, her daughter and vice-president princess Christine Sturdza are now in India to visit all the schools they are involved with.
