Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam, who are the joint coordinator and coordinator of the AIADMK, respectively, continued to hold meeting for the second consecutive day with senior leaders at the party headquarters.
As part of preparation for the upcoming urban local body polls and Assembly elections, the AIADMK chiefs were scheduled to meet office-bearers of seven districts in the morning and seven in the evening, for the next few days.
On the first day, the duo met representatives from 14 districts yesterday. Meanwhile, it is said that the meeting which was scheduled to be held on 13 February has been postponed to 15 February. Besides district heads, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and headquarters office-bearers have also been asked to attend the meeting, during which various things including strategies to face polls and alliance are discussed.
