Chennai: ‘Let Rajinikanth form his political party. We will then speak about forging alliance with him’, said actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan. Addressing media persons at Chennai airport late last night, Kamal said, ‘We will discuss alliance issues after he floats his party’.
Responding to a query on Delhi Assembly election results, he said, ‘I welcome the verdict. I wish such a change happens in Tamilnadu too’. Recently, when asked about possible alliance with Rajinikanth, Kamal had said, ‘We have been together for 44 years. If the need comes for us to get together (in politics) then we will. Right now, work is important. For the benefit of the people of Tamilnadu, we can take this journey together.’ Rajinikanth on his part said, ‘Once I float my party, I would discuss with my cadres and decide on alliance’.
